Almond Jelly in Fresh Fruits

Ingredients

1 packet agar agar powder
80g sugar
450ml water
50ml evaporated milk
50ml fresh milk
Drops of almond essence
500g fresh fruits

Syrup to serve:

200ml water
4-6 tbsp sugar

Methods

  1. Place the agar agar powder and sugar in a saucepan, stir in the water and bring to the boil.
  2. Then add milk and flavour with the almond essence.
  3. Transfer to a container, set in fridge.
  4. Prepare the syrup: Bring the water to the boil with the sugar until dissolved. Cool well for later use.
  5. Cut the fresh fruits into cubes.
  6. To serve: Cut the almond jelly into cubes, stir in the syrup and fruits. Serve cold.
