
Almond Jelly in Fresh Fruits

1 packet agar agar powder | |
80g sugar | |
450ml water | |
50ml evaporated milk | |
50ml fresh milk | |
Drops of almond essence | |
500g fresh fruits |
Syrup to serve:
200ml water | |
4-6 tbsp sugar |
Methods
- Place the agar agar powder and sugar in a saucepan, stir in the water and bring to the boil.
- Then add milk and flavour with the almond essence.
- Transfer to a container, set in fridge.
- Prepare the syrup: Bring the water to the boil with the sugar until dissolved. Cool well for later use.
- Cut the fresh fruits into cubes.
- To serve: Cut the almond jelly into cubes, stir in the syrup and fruits. Serve cold.
