| 450g plain flour | |
| 1.5 tablespoon baking powder | |
| 5 eggs | |
| 250g butter, soft | |
| 250g sugar | |
| 2 oranges | |
| a pinch of salt |
Methods
- Preheat the oven to 190oC.
- Cut orange into wedges, remove seed and blend the whole orange into puree. (add a little water to help if necessary)
- Cream sugar and butter.
- Then add beaten egg gradually.
- Mix in orange puree.
- Sieve in flour, baking powder and salt. Fold well.
- Pour into cake mould and bake for 50 minutes or until done.
