250g pumpkin | |
120g wheat starch | |
2 tbsp potato starch | |
1 tbsp sugar | |
120g red bean paste |
Methods
- Slice the pumpkin and steam fro 8-10 minutes until done, puree.
- Add water to make the puree into 1 cup.
- Bring the pumpkin puree mixture to the boil, stir in sugar. Remove and stir in the wheat starch and potato starch. Remove and knead until smooth, divide into 12 portions.
- Fill each portion with red bean paste, press into a greased crystal mould. Turn out and steam for 5 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
