
Baked Apple with Custard Sauce

| 4 nos | Apple |
| 50 g | Raisins |
| 2 Tbsp | Brown sugar |
| tsp | Cinnamon powder |
| 250 ml | Apple juice |
Sauces
| Egg yolk 2 nos. | |
| Fresh milk 250 ml | |
| Sugar 20g | |
| Cornstarch 1 Tbsp | |
| Vanilla essence 1/4 tsp |
Methods
- Remove the cores of apples.
- Mix raisins, brown sugar and cinnamon powder together. Stuff apple holes with raisins mixture.
- Place stuffed apples onto a baking tin. Pour in apple juice. Bake at Gas no. 4 for about 45 minutes.
- Blend egg yolk, sugar and cornstarch with little milk. Heat remaining milk.
- Gradually add hot water in egg yolk mixture, stir well. Pour in saucepan and cook over low heat until thickened.
- Take out baked apples and serve with custard sauce.
