Maple Walnut Cheesecake


Ingredients for Base:
120g Hob Nobs Biscuits
60g butter
Ingredients for filling:
454g cream cheese
100g sugar
2 eggs
125ml Maple Syrup
50ml milk
half cup walnut kernels, toasted and chopped
Ingredients for topping:
100ml sour cream
30ml maple syrup
2 tablespoons chopped walnut


2Crush biscuits into fine crumbs.
3Melt butter and stir in the crumbs, press into a 20-23cm cake tin.
4Cookies and Bream Filling:
5eat cream cheese and sugar until creamy.
6Slowly add eggs and maple syrup and whip until smooth.
7Mix in milk and fold in walnut kernels.
8Pour the mixture over the base and bake in water bath at 190˚C oven for 50-60 minutes or until done.
9Mix sour cream and maple syrup together in a bowl.
10 Pour over the cheesecake and bake for 7-10 minutes, then let cool and chill for 3 hours. Use walnuts for decoration.
