With your demand for good food and a healthy and balance diet, the Towngas Cooking Centre is organising an intensive Intermediate Chinese Cooking Course for your housemaids.

This “6-week Intermediate Chinese Cooking Course” includes 5 weeks of practical training and a round-up examination during the last week.
The course covers:
* Advance Chinese cooking methods and their variations
* Choosing and preparing different kinds of ingredients (meat, poultry, seafood, vegetables, soy products, etc.)
* 22 popular family and entertaining recipes (including soups and desserts; steamed, braised, double-boiled dishes, etc.)
* Hands on preparing 12 of the above dishes (individual practice; cooked dishes are to be brought home)
* Cooking tips, suggestions and variations
* Kitchen safety and hygiene
 
Sessions : 6
Date : Friday, 24 Apr and 8, 15, 22, 29 May
Examination date : Friday, 5 Jun
Time : 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Course Fee : $3,600.00 (inclusive of all ingredients, recipes, apron, and a certificate will be awarded upon successful completion.)
* All participants in this course must have completed the “Elementary Certificate Training Course for Housemaids” organised by Towngas Cooking Centre and be awarded the certificate; or be equipped with the equivalent level of knowledge and skills in Chinese cooking.
 
Please bring your own containers for food packing.

Lesson 1:
Chicken Fillet with Black Bean Sauce, Squirrel Fish, Cold Chinese Spiced Ham, Seafood and Enoki Mushroom Thickened Soup.

Lesson 2:
Sweet and Sour Pork, Stuffed Chicken Wing, Braised Vegetables with Bamboo Fungus, Almond Sweet Soup with Egg Whites.

Lesson 3:
Easy-made Soya Sauce Chicken, Scrambled Egg with Prawns and Yellow Chives, Crispy Mussels, Double-boiled Chicken Soup with Young Coconut.

Lesson 4:
Stewed Beef Brisket with Turnip, Crispy Soya Sheet Roll, Steamed Tofu with Scallop, Red Bean Sweet Soup with Dumplings.

Lesson 5:
Pan-fried Pei-pai Tofu, Rainbow Beef served with Lettuce, Deep-fried Shrimp Balls, Chicken and Mushroom Flavored Rice Served in Pot.

Examination:
Braised Tofu with Assorted Mushrooms, Beef Fillet in Black Pepper Sauce.
